SLOCAN FITNESS CENTER CLOSURE

SEPTEMBER 14, 2021

Due to the new COVID-19 measures issued by the PHO to mandate proof of vaccination, the Slocan Fitness Center will be closed, effective immediately. This closure will remain in effect until such time restrictions ease, and proof of vaccination is no longer required to enter the facility.

This decision was made by Slocan Council at their regular meeting of Sept. 13, with the input of the Slocan Fitness Center Advisory Commission.

If you are a Fitness Center member and have purchased a pass, please call the Village Office to apply for a credit or refund (250-355-2277).

The Village of Slocan, in partnership with the Fitness Center Advisory Commission, is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Slocan Fitness Center on August 1st, 2021. Passes are available for purchase at the Village Office during regular business hours starting August 1st, and will be available for purchase at Mountain Valley Station starting September 1st. New members are required to complete a liability waiver form.

*Members who have purchased a pass prior to the March 2020 COVID-19 closure are asked to claim their credit at the Village Office. Credits will be applied to the purchase of their new pass.
