on the second Monday of the month at 7 pm.

Agenda Items:

All items or reports for the agenda of a meeting of Council or the COW (Council of the Whole), other than a special Council meeting, must be delivered to the CAO prior to 12:00 noon on the Monday, ten (10) days in advance of the scheduled meeting. Any item not delivered complete and in an agenda-ready format by that deadline shall be held to the next meeting of Council or the COW, unless approved as a late item by the CAO.

Slocan Fitness Centre	Gym membership passes are available at the Village Office and at Mountain Valley Gas Station. Monthly Pass: $20* *Punch Pass; $30 (10 Visits) 3-Month Pass; $50* 6-Month Pass: $100* Yearly Pass: $180*** (*plus GST)
Slocan Library Hours	Monday 8am – 11am Tuesday 1pm – 5pm Thursday 1pm – 5pm, 7pm – 9pm Friday 7pm – 9pm Sunday 11am – 3pm

Garbage & Recycling:
Residential:	Tuesdays, Please put out by 9 am 2 bag limit
Commercial:	Tuesdays & Fridays
Garbage Tags:	Available at the Village Office: Residential $2.00 each Commercial $2.00 each
RDCK Waste Site:	Every Tuesday and Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm excluding holidays.
Recycling:	Paper, cardboard, glass, tin cans, plastic containers (no styrofoam), and plastic milk jugs. Bins are located beside the RDCK Transfer Station. No Garbage, please.
Composting:	The Slocan Public Compost is now located at the south end of the Public Works yard (moved from Arlington Road beside the horse corral). Please dump compostable matter only, such as twigs, leaves, and grass clippings. Thank you for your cooperation.
SNOW REMOVAL	The Village of Slocan would like to remind residents to keep boulevards cleared of vehicles and debris, in preparation for snow removal. Persons with disabilities and seniors may apply for clearance of driveway furrows at the Village Office. Proof of eligibility is required.
