May 13 - Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast at the Silvery Slocan
May 18 - Springer Creek R V & Campground opens for the season

July 7, 2007 - Slocan City Loggers' Sports- Our Canadian Championships for this year are: Open Climb, Intermediate Choker Race, Ladies Birling, Novice Double Buck
July - The Slocan Lake Garden Tour, nine private gardens are open starting with the Kohan Reflection Garden in New Denver.
October Fest, Music, food and crafts. (Usually on the first Sunday in October)
Oct 31 - Halloween Hoot! complete with bonfire and fireworks. ( 7 pm at the Ballfield)
November - Winter Craft Fair at the Silvery Slocan
December - Christmas Tree Lighting

Valhalla Provincial Park has several hiking trails....
Drinnon/Gwillim Trail, Slocan/Evans, Gimli and Nemo Creek trails are a few.

Silvery Slocan Tour, a circle tour which can be completed in one day. Features areas of long ago. Slocan Valley, Nelson, Balfour, Ainsworth, Kaslo, Retallack, Sandon, New Denver, Silverton.
Tour to Silverton, New Denver, Nakusp, Beaton, Trout Lake, Meadow Creek and Kaslo, an interesting view of wild and unexplored areas of the Kootenays.
