The Village of Slocan provides a ball park, community beach, playground and boat launch. Slocan has just finished remodeling the old elementary school into Slocan Wellness Center. We also have a food mart, gas station, auto repair, accommodations, post office, bus service and a restaurant. There is a curling rink, skate board area. There are two churches: St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Village of Slocan provides a water system, volunteer fire department, garbage pickup.... There are a number of extra curricular activities on a regular basis at W.E. Graham Community School. |
